Fair means it does not hold together very well, and will be good enough just to protect the disc. Good means it may have one or more cracks, but still functions as a case. Very good means there is a sign of wear, but no major cracks. Pristine means case is not cracked or torn. Fair means it has definitely seen better days, but it has at least been tested and working. Good means it may have one or two visible scratches in addition to some scuff marks maybe, but it has been tested as working. Very good means there may be some very light scuff marks. Pristine means there is not a single scuff or scratch mark. Please note that for certain newer consoles' and handhelds' games whose disc is pristine or very good, I did not test to confirm as working due to time, however if you would like to see a screenshot, let me know and I will try upload one if possible.
